Why worry when I am comfy?
From what I hear, my ex-Wing has decided to stop the Employment Seva for the sake of reorganization. I guess it was not worth it. But what if I were a jobless man right now, and on my last legs? Would any job-lead not drive me?

The reason is simple- the local "franchise" which bears no similarity apart from the name of the global organisation runs differently. It runs only with the Head and not with the Heart. Those who keep nodding the Head get silly retention rewards on the grounds of being the "chosen" one!
ReplyDeleteI can hazard a guess on what may have happened-Someone would have suggested- Why have this project of Employment Seva- 100 others would have nodded "Yes Why have" and it got booted out!
One can find another event which fell out of favour of the franchise! The school where we used to run Annual Fair- we used to hear lofty announcements-" ...we will be part of this cause to support the school in their efforts to help and encourage the children. We invite all to participate in the to support the children with ...." Whatever happenned to this cause- The local franchise is no longer is in "special need" of those children?
The Head will never find any reason for doing good to others. The Heart will do good to others without finding any reason!
When doing work- we need to use our Head but when dealing with people (devotees, active workers and all the beneficiaries of our service) our Hearts. It will take
ages before the leadership of our local franchise realise this sacred principle and yugas before it is reflected in practise
Carl Sagan the eminent scientist used to say- The problems of the world are not with "Leadership" but with "Followership". If the followers practise what they expect from their leaders, the world will change- no other way!
Praveen- It is You and I who need to help people find jobs or help children with special needs.
Expecting others to lead our way is not how I believe He has designed this world!
Havent we heard this "We Must Be The Change We Wish to See in The World!"
Sir, since you mentioned, the Employment Seva was first initiated from my end when I was in charge. But you are absolutely right in what you say. That's precisely whey I don't say anything anymore... in public!
