Explanation versus Experience

I was once asked how I could refer to God as Absolute Reality, without suggesting what I meant by Absolute Reality. My answer is that God is an experience, not an explanation. The Atma, probably what Schopenhauer referred to as Infinity, is not only unknown, but also unknowable.
