Emotional vs. Rational

Poohpooh got a new laptop for herself yesterday, 18th Feb. In other words, I got her a laptop that would suit my specifications! Did a good amount of research and spent two hours. She commented that she would have spent as much time buying a pair of shoes. Buying shoes of your choice is an emotional decision. 

Buying a laptop should be a rational decision. Same effort, different objectives.
