This is a personal diary, and in no way reflects any opinion or view of the Spiritual Organization that I am part of. I have always lived my heart on my sleeve; so, I guess you read what I think and live. Regarding my spiritual affiliation: If you ask me whether I am a Sai devotee, my answer is No. I am not a Sai devotee if it goes to mean that I follow the teachings of Sai. But I am a Sai devotee if you refer to my Absolute Devotion to the form that embodies Absolute Reality.

Unzooed animals
Took my family to Jumeirah zoo yesterday. Akshitha was tired of seeing animals on the screen. Figured out one thing yesterday,- real animals live outside the zoo. Many of those animals looked more humane than some humans that I know of.

Well said.
ReplyDeletePerhaps we should make such trips more often to undertstand the very purpose of our existence and recognize the fundamental difference between the two.
You know what?! I didn't see this comment. In fact, I only knew that people comment to my posts only when Rajesh told me yesterday that he had commented to my post on our Q3 Bhajan.
ReplyDeleteWell, about the zoo, you are right. And the situation is so pathetic. The Royal Bengal Tiger looked more docile than the pussy cat in my screen saver. With less than 2 sq.m. to tread on, they looked more dead than alive.
