A wet start to blogging

In the name of Sai, the Supreme personality of Godhead.

It's my first blog, and it rained today like cats and their enemies. They say that it's pretty auspicious to have rain when you start something. It was pretty eventful for me, if not auspicious. Baby fell for the first time in her life and lacerated her upper lip. Poohpooh lost her chain, but Krishna saved his locket for her. And both Baby and her Papa escaped getting knocked over by inches. All at Dubai Mall.

I woke up during Bramhamuhurtam dreaming that a green tower like structure fell on us and injured Baby. Interestingly, Baby wore a green infant salwar today! To pretend I didnt dream it, I forced myself to dream of other things. But as much as man can dream, he can't control his dreams like he can control his life.

We went in the evening to Dubai Mall, Poohpooh, Baby and chechi. It rained well throughout the ride and it was all fun till the fall. And when she did, we rushed her to a baby store to distract her. That's when chechi noticed the locket, which I had gifted Poohpooh for her birthday just a couple of days back. And there was no chain to string it. And after this sequence of misfortunes, Baby and Papa were walking through the parking when a car rolled past us like he didn't notice. And in all likelihood, he didnt. And I didn't. And neither did the security controllng the traffic. And a thought flashed my mind that Swami must have averted this major with some minors. Enough for me to be ensconced in my sofa at 5 mins short of midnight to type this blog.

As the years roll by, we become more and more aware that life is more of a happening and less of a doing.

Sai Ram!
